Hi. I'm Christopher Rayner Weakley. Raynersounds is where I deliver professional mixing and mastering, with emphasis on digital precision. Whatever the final destination for your audio (streaming, vinyl, cassette, or the club), I can be your go-to. I am dedicated to helping artists achieve their sonic vision with clarity and impact. I specialize in alt rock, grunge, and metal, but all genres are welcome! Your vision IS my vision.

How this works
Before anything, we talk. You send me your rough/final mix and tell me what you're hearing in your head. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit for it. If I'm not, I'll say so.
Mixing is where the tracks get balanced, placed, and shaped into a finished song. Any "fixes" are done at this stage. Levels, EQ, compression, spatial effects, automation are finalized. I extend your vision, I don't rewrite it.
Mastering is the final polish on an already-finished mix. Fine tuning the balance, loudness, and clarity so it holds up on streaming, vinyl, cassette, or in the club.
Turnaround - Mixing: ~5 business days. Mastering: ~2-3 business days. Revisions are included in that window.
Revisions - Two rounds included on every mix. Mastering - unlimited. Most mixes need one. If we're still not there after two, we keep going — I'm not sending you something you don't believe in.
"Starting at" $200 covers a standard track. Unusually large track counts or heavy editing work can move it — I'll quote you before I start, not after. You'll never get a surprise number from me.
What I'll need from you: Multi-tracks for a mix or a single, stereo file for a master (24-bit WAVs), reference track(s), and a sentence about what's not working. That's it.

Mixing
Starting at $200/track
Precision mixing using cutting-edge tools to sculpt your tracks to perfection, putting everything in its right place. Instrumentals, a capellas, etc available upon request.
Mastering
$75/track
Critical listening skills and a treated room is crucial to get your tracks properly loud and clear. My default is a stereo digital master.
Mix and Master Bundle
Starting at $250/track
Combine your efforts and let me take care of all your post production needs.
Stem Mastering
$150/track
Maximize control and flexibility with stem mastering for a more refined and tailored sonic experience.
Audio Editing

Mistakes happen. Some of them can be fixed. Talk to me about your editing needs.
Critical listening is done on room calibrated Kali Audio LP-6 monitors and Behringer subwoofer.
I proudly use: Fab Filter, Slate Digital, UA, Kush, Newfangled, Oeksound, SSL, Waves, MTM, and more.
Chris is wonderful to work with! Thoughtful and attentive with a quick turnaround. I had him help me out with 4 mixes that I needed balanced and mastered ahead of a gig and he pulled through with flying colors. I'll be working with Chris again here in the near future!
